Nourishing West Lothian with kindness and connection.
West Lothian Food Network brings together local organisations who care deeply about making sure everyone in our communities has access to good, nutritious food.
Together, we support people who are struggling — whether it’s due to low income, living in rural areas, or facing other challenges that put them at risk of poor health because of food poverty.
Our members don’t just respond in times of crisis. They also work proactively, reaching those living in hidden poverty — people who may be in areas that seem well-off but are quietly dealing with debt or financial hardship.
Support is offered with dignity at its heart. People are given real choice, not just handouts. That support might come in the form of cooking classes, a community café, a drop-in pantry, a hot meal, or advice on benefits and debt. It’s all place-based, rooted in local knowledge, and shaped by the needs of each community.
Every week, the Food Network helps to feed over 4,000 people across West Lothian – and we’re proud to be part of something that brings people together around food, support, and compassion.
